MikroTik BaseBox5 (RB912UAG-5HPND-OUT) is a rugged outdoor wireless device, designed to provide reliable wireless connectivity in challenging environments. Based on the popular RB912 model, the BaseBox5 features two RPSMA connectors for antennas and a cable hood to protect against moisture, ensuring durability in outdoor conditions. For enhanced flexibility, the BaseBox5 includes additional space for up to three more antenna connectors. This allows you to use the miniPCIe slot for adding a second wireless interface, such as a dual-band device or a 3G/4G modem, expanding your network capabilities. The enclosure is built for ease of use, with a one-handed opening mechanism and protection against the elements. Essential ports, including USB, Ethernet, and a grounding wire exit, are all located at the bottom, behind a protective door. The BaseBox5 also comes with a mounting loop for easy tower or pole mounting, and a DIN rail mount is included for alternative installations. Included in the package are a PoE injector and power supply unit, making the BaseBox5 a complete and reliable solution for outdoor wireless setups.
